f(x) youngest member Krystal talks about an episode regarding the popular abs dance the group included in their latest hit ‘NU ABO’.
f(x) was on MBC Golden Fishery on 16th June when Krystal talked about the highlight of the performance which is the abs dance, “I thought that a dance step showing our abs would garner interests.”
MC Shin JungHwan then said, “There are critics that the dance step was too wild.” Krystal commented, “In the choreography, we have to lift our shirts. So the degree of exposure depends on the clothes we are wearing for the performance.” Sulli then added, “My fans told me to just pretend to do it and not do it for real.”
And Shin JungHwa asked, “How about Krsytal’s fans?” Krystal answered, “My fans like it.”
The newest episode of Invincible Youth aired yesterday which featured the three new members: f(x)’s Victoria, After School’s Joo Yeon, and Sori. Koyote’s Kim Jong Min will also be making an appearance on the show for 4 weeks to teach the recently added idols about variety.
The episode started off with introductions and Kim Jong Min was up first. As soon as he entered, the fellow G7 members started to burst into laughter, saying things such as “Why is he here?!” As he stood with the cast, a moment was shortly relived withSecret’s Sunhwa from a past episode of Invincible Youth that Kim Jong Min guested in.
Joo Yeon entered the scene next wearing her Bang! stage clothes and a drum, playing Let’s Do It live with little backtrack. She introduced herself, and a little drama game was played which involved Joo Yeon and T-ara’s Hyomin, and both acting real mad to the point where they were screaming at the top of their lungs. Kim Shin Young had to calm Hyomin down by pulling her aside.
Victoria made quite an awkward entrance as she wore traditional Chinese clothing and started walking as if she was drunk. She performed a dance routine with two glass cups mainly showing off her flexibility. Goo Hara soon after challenged her, to which she did 5 cartwheels in a row, and attempted to go back but didn’t quite make it.
Sori was the last one to appear, making a swift entrance showing off both her dancing skills as well as b-boying skills to various songs including G-Dragon’s Heartbreaker. Kim Jong Min thought he could do better, however didn’t do too well at first. He showed off some of his skills.
Rising popular girl group f(x) member Amber revealed the story behind her short hair.
On the 16th, the singer revealed through MBC variety talk show Radio Star, “Since I was little, I often heard that I look like a boy.” Additionally, to the question the MC asked of whether SM Entertainmentrecommended Amber to cut her hair short, the f(x) member replied, “No. I just cut it short because it’s easy to take care of.”
Furthermore, comedian Shin Jung Hwan who was present at the show cleverly commented, “I thought Dong Hyun came with makeup on,” making the studio members laugh. Amber then caused more laughter by impersonating the expression of a llama, an animal she’s said to resemble.
f(x) released their first album on May 3rd and are busy promoting their newest songNu ABO.

f(x) members were on MBC Golden Fishery aired on 16th June when Amber revealed, “I’ve heard from many people that I am like a guy since I was little.”
When asked by the MCs on the show if she had kept the short hairstyle because her agency had made her to, Amber answered, “No. Because it is very comfortable, I cut it short.”
Also on the show, Amber mimicks the expression of her lookalike animal, which had everyone in the studio laughing.
Meanwhile, f(x) is promoting the song ‘NU ABO’ off their 1st minialbum.
f(x) Sulli talks about how she had cried a lot because of Super Junior Kim HeeChul.
During the girls’ appearance on MBC Golden Fishery on 16th June, Sulli revealed, “Since I was young, Kim HeeChul had made fun for me a lot. He would tease me that my feet smell, or come up and ask me if I washed my hair. Because I was young, I have felt very hurt by them.”
But she added, “I have also teaser Kim HeeChul. I have smeared mud on his pants with a muddy ball.”
Meanwhile on the show hat day, Super Junior Kim HeeChul made a special appearance as he was filming MBC Come To Play at the same time too. He said, “Please love the f(x) dongsaengs.”

Group f(x) speaks up about speculations going around that they have undergone plastic surgery.
f(x) Luna said in a recent interview with MyDaily, “There were many rumours of plastic surgery when we first debuted. It was really tough.” Krytal then said jokingly, “(Pointing to the face) This?”.
Sulli explained, “We really heard a lot of these rumours. That I’ve undergone plastic surgery for double eyelids. When I open my eyes real big, it gets thicker and when I don’t pay attention, it disappears. I think people are too doubtful.”
She continued, “There was even people who said that I’ve got botox done on my lips. I was so hurt in the beginning. I asked myself ‘Does this make sense?’. But people around me told me that people only said that because my eyes are pretty like those underwent plastic surgery. And so I was like ‘Ahh, so that’s why’ and I liked it.”
Member Amber, known for her boyish charms, also said, “There were many doubts whether I am really a guy. When those surfaced, Sulli came out and said ‘Don’t seem like bad intention. Aren’t they just saying that you’re cool? Amber also don’t see it in a bad way’.”
Amber continued, “Now I’m used to it. In the States, when I go to the restroom, some aunties even once told me to ‘Go the opposite direction’. I know people don’t mean it the bad way. So I’m fine with it now.”
