Many eyes have been on the new action spy drama 'IRIS' for its story and its cast. One of the cast members that definitely stands out is Big Bang's resident BAMF rapper T.O.P But many are beginning to question his role in the drama as the series has proved that he has no large significance.

So far from episode 1 to 14, T.O.P has just 5 episode appearances. In episode 2 it was just a brief introduction at the end, episode 3 he kicked some major butt and assassinated one of the extras, episode 6 he rescued Mi Jung (the hacker) from two drunk men with English more broken than most of the Korean population, episode 7 he kidnaps and kills Yuki, and in the most recent episode of 14, he shares a kiss scene with Mi Jung.
People say the lines that he says to her seem random and that the relationship and kiss scene seems forced, rather than flowing with the drama and the rest of the story. Some even say that due to the lack of significance of T.O.P's role, he shouldn't be categorized as one of the main cast but rather as a supporting one. The drama has greatly disappointed many Big Bang fans, and some people even speculate that T.O.P's involvement could have possibly been something the director conjured up to reel in the younger crowd.
On a brighter note, people comment that T.O.P has generally cold yet sexy eyes and that he fits the role perfectly. Their only wish is that he would at least get some more screen time like fellow cast mates Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee if he is going to be called one of the "main actors". There are 6 episodes left to rectify that!
