Who’s T.O.P kissing now?

Big Bang's T.O.P has made a habit of kissing beautiful girls. First it was Lee Hyori, then came Heo Ji Yae, and most recently Yang Mi Jung. Now it's Through the Roof High Kick star Shin Sae Kyung turn to lock lips with T.O.P (or maybe just a peck on the forehead).

Apparently, the kiss scene is for an upcoming LG Cyon cell phone commercial and only teaser photos have been released. Check out the photos below and remember to visit the Big Bang VIP Forums.

2NE1 accuses Lionel Richie of plagiarism? Author gets it wrong

2NE1 is accusing Lionel Richie of plagiarism? Apparently so, according to this article by the Norwich Bulletin. In the article, there's a snippet regarding this matter:

"Richie’s latest album features collaborations with Akon as well as songs written and produced by Ne-Yo and The Dream. The album was described by cduniverse.com as “pop/R&B perfection” and album buyers must have thought the same. The CD got off to a great start on the charts internationally, breaking the Top 10 of the U.S. R&B Album chart and peaking at No. 1 on the UK R&B chart

Still, it was not without its controversy. A south-Korean girl group called 2NE1 claimed Richie’s title track “Just Go” was a bit too similar to their earlier release “I Don’t Care.” Though Richie hasn’t discussed the claim, Universal Music Group is investigating."

However, it seems the author got it wrong, because Lionel Richie's song was released before I Don't Care. Just Go was released in the Spring of 2009, while I Don't Care was released in the Summer of 2009. In addition, Teddy (1TYM leader and producer of most of 2NE1, G-Dragon, and Taeyang's music) previously acknowledged that his songs were the ones that were being accused of plagiarism and has firmly denied them.

2NE1's fellow YG Entertainment members Big Bang releases their albums under Universal Music in Japan, so YG Entertainment already has some sort of relationship with Universal Music. Since there hasn't been much news pertaining to this, it's most likely a non-issue.

I've listened to both of the tracks, and in my opinion I don't really hear that much of a similarity where you can accuse one of plagiarism. Thanks to m for the tip, compare the two tracks below and compare them yourself. Also remember to check out the YG Ladies Forum.

G-Dragon is a ninja

Big Bang's G-Dragon was recently spotted looking like a ninja as he made his return from Japan at the Incheon International Airport.

Because G-Dragon wanted to hide, being a celebrity and all, he wore a mask, but his ninja skills failed him as his photo was taken. He looked very much like Lee Byung Hun's Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe. He also had on some nice white Dr. Dre beats headphones.

Then again, maybe this is a new fashion trend that G-Dragon is trying out? He's supposedly a fashionista after all. Remember to visit the Big Bang VIP Forums. Check out the photo below courtesy of gd-880818.com:

G-Dragon sells the most albums in 2009

According to Hanteo Information System, which monitored album sales from January 1st to December 1st of this year, only two musicians have been able to sell over 100,000 albums this year and to no one's surprise, the big winners are G-Dragon of Big Bang and Super Junior.

G- Dragon's first album, “Heart Breaker,” which was released in August, has sold 127,252 albums, making it the #1 selling record of 2009. Following G-Dragon closely behind is the thirteen-member-ed Super Junior, who came back to the Korean music scene in March with their 3rd studio album, "Sorry Sorry." Since then, the album has sold 123,286 records.

In 3rd place is the newly formed girl group 2NE1, who released a self-titled mini album in July and with their single “I Don’t Care,” sold 89,007 records this year.

SNSD, who released their 2nd mini-album this past April, hold the 4th and the 5th spot as they released two very successful albums this year. Their 2nd mini album, “Tell Me Your Wish,” which was released in June, has sold 85,063 records and their 1st mini album, released in January, has gone to sell 81,445 records.

Congrats to all the artists and who are you surprised didn't make the cut?

Ex-managers of YG Entertainment accused of stealing $2 million

Three former managers that worked at YG Entertainment have reportedly stolen around $2 million dollars from various performers' payments and concert fees.

Seoul Center Court reported that these ex-managers took the performers' payments and put the money in bank accounts with fake identities. They used the money for their daily needs and for entertainment expenses such as clubbing and drinking.

The court is also charging three club owners related with Yang Hyun Suk. These club owners are charged for not paying the right amount of taxes they should have paid; they avoided $1 million worth of taxes. The three owners have collected club entry fees in cash for 4 years to spend it for their own good. The tax agency first reported this problem and detectives have been secretly investigating YGE for months.

The court hasn't charged the managers yet, but the police have gathered substantial evidence to confirm that such corruptions have taken place.

When will this chain of controversies ever end?

G-Dragon sports new look at VIP screening of Actresses

Accompanied by his friend, model Lee Soo Hyuk, Big Bang's G-Dragon sported a new look when he attended a special VIP screening of the movie, Actresses.

I don't know about you, but to me with those over-sized glasses... he looks a bit like Uncle Junior from the Sopranos or maybe even the youtube sensation Ronald Jenkees. Whatever you have to say about him, either good or bad, you have to admit that he's a bit unique. Check out the fashionista below and remember to visit the Big Bang VIP Forums.
